Meet Tim

I am the creator and chief facilitator of Play2yourStrengths.
My journey began in primary school teaching. I started running drama and music sessions in schools, whilst also acting in various roles from Panto to Pinter! This led me to the world of musical comedy, improvisation and clown, culminating in a one-man comedy show which toured to Canada.
Subsequently I trained as a Dramatherapist, so combining education and therapy work in schools, theatres, care homes, gardens and arts festivals to list but a few.
Play2yourStrengths implements education, well-being and performance elements into a new collaboration of playful initiatives where my experiences as a creative facilitator has shaped a new approach, and a new collection of workshops.
These sessions explore our potential as individuals, but also how we interact and empathise with others in small or large group situations. Through the power of drama, movement and play, we can explore our potential, improve our wellbeing and have some fun along the way.

Tim's Experience
I am a HCPC registered Dramatherapist, trained in the Sesame approach which focuses on healing through story, movement and play. I have additional training in cognitive behavioural therapy. I am also an actor, musician and skilled ‘Improvisor’.
I have extensive therapeutic experience working with individuals and groups in both mainstream and specialist schools, and in the community.
I work with a variety of businesses and organisations to provide creative workshops and staff training events.
